Modern
Horsepower's
(MHP) Stage1 v2 ECU / TCU Tuning (v2)
aka Complete Driveline Tuning/CDT. MHP's
tunes are created specifically per the
application, some are daily drivers,
others are race only. Modern Horsepower
is the
only aftermarket performance tuner in
the world that can recalibrate a TCU
(transmission control unit) for all
makes/models of European vehicles
(including the latest encrypted and
scrambled OEM cals from BMW, MB, Chryco).
This gives us a huge advantage over the
competition as we can control far more
total driveline tuning
variables including TCU torque
management (both ECU and TCU have their
own TM limiters), raised/consistent WOT
shifting, sharper throttle response,
quicker/faster up and downshifts,
reduced manual shifter delay, further
refined part throttle
shifting/drivability, and nearly
eliminated adaptive learning. As our
competitors really only tune half the
driveline; MHP TCU Tuning can actually
extend the life of a transmission as
sluggish OEM WOT shifts equate to extra
heat building up in the trans; next to
excessive rpm nothing kills
transmissions as quickly as heat.
Finally we allow our customers to select
their own level of WOT shift
quickness/firmness on a scale of 1-10.

Our ECU tuning has
proven itself superior to the
competition in its own right, and our
ECU v2 Mercedes Benz Tuning allows for
significantly reduced adaptives,
decreased or eliminated torque
management, revised timing and A/F
tables, and a raised redline. Currently,
MHP's project C63 AMG has shown gains of
90HP+ and 52lb/ft of torque +
(540hp/492lb/ft at the flywheel or
436rwhp/402rwtq SAE, in 5th gear (1:1),
on a DynoJet. We assume even
larger gains once MHP's header,
exhaust and Under Drive pulley package
are installed.

removed by even the most novice mechanic
with our directions takes less than 2
minutes. Once we receive your ECU we'll
flash it and immediately ship it back to
you. If you're a resident of the continental
U.S. it's a 3 business day process (1 to
ship to us, 1 to flash, and 1 to ship back).
